New Swing Check Valves in Thermoplastic

K4-Check-Valve

Austrian valve manufacturer Praher Valves has continued to expand it’s range with the introduction of their New Generation ‘K4’ Swing Check Valve in PVC, PP, PPGF (polypropylene glass filled) & PVDF, for applications involving water and most chemicals, up to 10 bar pressure.

The 'K4' Swing Check Valve is a wafer style, with a body featuring Universal Mounting holes making these valves suitable for use with BS, DIN, ANSI, ASTM and JIS flanges. Seal options are EPDM and FPM.

The wide opening angle of the flap (83º), ensures much higher flow rates and lower pressure drops than have been available from thermoplastic swing checks of the previous ‘thin wafer’ design. The design of the ‘K4’ body eliminates the need to provide an additional spacer piece or pipe extension to prevent fouling of the flap on the inside diameter of the pipe.

Available in sizes from DN65 (2-1/2”) to DN300 (12”).

Coaxial Valve for High Pressure & Agressive Media

RSG-Coaxial-Valve-2-way-brass

Coaxial valves from German valve manufacturer RSG GmbH offer a unique and compact design, actuated by solenoid or pressure pilot and suitable for a wide variety of media with pressure ratings to 250 bar. Available in 2/2 and 3/2 versions, they are directly actuated and operate from 0 bar inlet pressure.

Coaxial valves are bi-directional in design, with the media passing in a straight line through the control tube without any significant directional changes to it’s axial flow. This unique flow path and the pressure balanced control tube makes these valves suitable for applications involving, vacuum, gaseous, liquid, gelatinous, highly viscous, contaminated and aggressive media and as a result of their single moving part, offer fast actuation, long cycle life and low maintenance.

Available with port sizes from G1/8” to G2” and bodies in Brass or Stainless Steel, Coaxial valves may be used as individual, stand-alone valves or may be banked together in a modular configuration where a number of valves must be fitted into a confined space.

Safety Locking Handle

Safety-Locking-Handle

We are pleased to announce the availability of a complete range of Lockable Ball, Butterfly and Diaphragm valves, from Austrian Thermoplastic valve manufacturer, Praher Valves GmbH.

All Butterfly Valves, Diaphragm Valves and ‘S4’ type Ball Valves are now supplied complete with a locking mechanism at no extra charge.

Praher’s patented locking mechanism permits the operator to select either the open or closed position of the valve and secure it in that position with the aid of a padlock or similar locking device. In the case of the butterfly and diaphragm valves, the hand lever/hand wheel may be locked in open, closed or a variety of increments in between.

Praher Ball, Butterfly and Diaphragm Valves are also available with pneumatic or electric actuators, proportional controllers, and position indicator switches if required.

Dosing Valve - ProfiDos 101

ProfiDos-101-Motorised

The enhanced ProfiDos 101 features a 180° opening angle and grooved, ‘safefloat’ ball that provides exact dosing. It can now be fully automatically controlled and is available in sizes from DN 15 to DN 50, in PVC-U and PP.

The ProfiDos 101 provides extremely accurate measurement and is ideal for a wide range of applications where precise dosing is required. Full modulation over 180° is possible using a 4 - 20 mA or 0 - 10 V input control signal.

Suitable for use in chemical plants, water treatment plants and surface technology applications, the ProfiDos 101 combines the function of a valve and a control device in one unit.

Portable Pressure Testing Equipment

Haskel-Test-Pac

Air Driven ‘Test Pacs’ are ideal for applications requiring the pressure testing of Tanks, Vessels, Pipework, Fittings, Flanges and Hoses.

Pressure tests can be safely conducted using liquids at pressures up to 60,000 psi (4,130 bar), generated by air at only 100 psi (6.8 bar).

Test Pacs are portable, ruggedly built and light weight, making them suitable for either shop floor or on-site pressure testing, and are ideal for hazardous areas as they are totally air driven, with no associated electrical components.

Test Pacs have the ability to stall after reaching a predetermined pressure and will hold this fixed pressure without consuming further power or generating heat.

C120 Ball Valve from AV Stübbe

Stübbe C120 Ball Valve

Manufactured from PE-HD 100 and fitted with NBR seals, these valves feature a one-piece vacuum-tight housing, making them maintenance free and resistant to chemical and electrochemical damage.

Manufactured in versions specifically for Drinking Water, Gas, Waste Water & Sewage, they are available in sizes from DN25 to DN150 and suitable for pressures up to 16 Bar. The full bore valves have high flow rates and a theoretical service life of 50 years.

The Waste Water and Gas versions are designed to be used in underground applications, with the entire valve being hermetically sealed against groundwater, sludge and sand. Its spigot ends can be easily fixed to the pipe by butt welding or electro fusion welding, thus eliminating the possibility of leaking joints. They are designed to replace previously used metal valves.

3-Way Ball Valve with Locking Handle

Praher 3 way ball valveAustrian valve manufacturer Praher Valves has recently expanded its range of 3-Way Ball Valves to now include PVC, PP & PVDF, for applications involving water and most chemicals up to 16 bar pressure.

The 'S4' 3-Way Ball Valve features positive retention of the ball in all three ports, ensuring that the ball will remain in it's position even if two of the unions are removed, while still maintaining full pressure on the valve.

Available in sizes from DN10 to DN50 in both 'L' and 'T' Port configurations, these valves feature the same Locking Handle which has been supplied as standard on all 'S4' valves for the last five years.

A pad lock fitted to the hole in the locking device, prevents the device from being lifted out of the notches moulded into the neck of the valve, effectively allowing the valve to be locked in any of four positions.

Another important addition to the Praher 3-Way valve series is the recent release of Valve Support Brackets and Actuator Mounting Sets, making it as simple now to attach a pneumatic or electric actuator to a Praher 3-Way valve as it is to a 2-Way valve.

Chemical Resistant Fittings, Glass & Luer-Lock adaptors, and Shut-off couplings

Glass & Luer-Lock adaptorsThe EM-Technik Series 3 range of Laboratory Fittings has been manufactured to suit capillary tubes with diameters from 0.7 to 6.4 mm and flexible tubes with diameters from 4/6 to 14/18.

An interesting addition to this range is the Series 3G Laboratory Coupling which make it possible to connect between a laboratory glass type cylinder with GL thread, and a variety of flexible tubes.
