Company History
1980
Commenced business in February in equal partnership with the Australian manufacturer, Pongrass Industries Limited. This partnership provided our Company with the complete range of Pongrass Fluid Power equipment. At the time, Pongrass Industries was the largest manufacturer of Fluid Power equipment in Australia.
We were also the Australian Distributor
for the AeroGo range of Air Floatation Load Moving equipment, manufactured
by Seattle based AeroGo Inc. This association continues today.
1983
As a result of the volatile nature of the Fluid Power
industry we decided to diversify into Process Control and were successful in
acquiring the Australasian Distributorship for the complete range of valves
and instruments manufactured by the German manufacturer Gemü.
Pongrass Industries was acquired by Schrader Bellows Inc. and at this time the management team at Air & Hydraulic Systems negotiated the purchase of the Pongrass Industries shares in Air & Hydraulic Systems Pty Limited.
